Most important Attractions and tourist places in Turkey:

Istanbul:

It is the largest city in Turkey, located on the Bosphorus Strait, and comprises two parts; one on the Asian side and the other is on the European side.

It has a population of nearly 15 million people, and it’s characterized by being a modern, historical, tourist, commercial and cultural city at the same time, carrying the legacy of world culture and civilization.

Istanbul’s most important features: Topkapi Palace, the official and political tiles to the Ottoman sultans, in addition to other palaces such as Dolmabahçe Palace.

Among the most famous mosques are Sultanahmet Mosque with six minarets, Suleymaniye Mosque (Süleymaniye Camii), Sultan Ayoub mosque (Eyüp Sultan Camii), Museum (Hagia Sophia), Galata Tower (Galata Kulesi), and the most famous markets "Covered Market" (Grand Bazaar), Kapali Carsi.

Istikala street (Independence street) in the European part of Istanbul, Baghdad Street located in the Asian part, as well as modern commercial centers scattered in many regions of Istanbul are considered as most famous shopping destinations.

Also from the many tourist areas that can be visited in Istanbul, is mini Turkey area (miniaturk) which contains mini structures of the city of Istanbul, in addition to Princesses Island in the Marmara Sea.


Bursa City

Located in the south-east region of the Sea of Marmara, overlooking the Mount (Olympus of Mysia, 2,443 meters), since it was the first capital of the Ottoman Empire, there are several important Ottoman monuments. The city also known as Green Bursa, famous for its historical mosques that goes back to the Seljuk era such as Ulu Mosque (Great Mosque), as well as the historic covered market.

Of places worth a visit is the “Yeşil Türbe " (Green mausoleum), large public parks, Iznik Lake located in the north-east, Park of Culture, the Archaeological Museum of Bursa, and the Museum of Ataturk


Yalova city

Considered as one of the well-known tourist cities which is visited by a large number of tourists every year, this is due to its natural landscaped, as well as many mineral baths used to treat certain diseases. Which is known worldwide and called (Tarmal Kabalija), and it is also considered as an important center for treatment and healing in Turkey and the Middle East.

Bolu city and Abant Lake

Bolu is located in the south-west of the Black Sea, between Ankara and Istanbul, which is a beautiful, green and quiet historic city with cool summers, and snowy winters.

it includes a number of very beautiful lakes, such as Lake "Golcuk" and lake "Abant" surrounded by mountains and dense forests, a popular destination for tourists.

Izmir city

The city of Izmir is Turkey's third largest city and is located in the west of the country on the Aegean Sea. It is a commercial, industrial and cultural district, featuring the beautiful coastline, mineral waters, and a large port and coastal areas.

The most important coastal areas is "cesme" which is famous  for its healing waters and white sand which is rare in the world, in addition to marine bays, including "Foca" area.

From a historical perspective, it dates back to more than 8,000 years, it also includes the seventh wonders of the world known as the "Temple of Artemis" and Efes in Seljuk city where there is an area dubbed as "the shrine of holy Mary".

Bodrum

Belongs to the state of Mugla, which is located on the shores of the Aegean Sea. It includes tour Marines and clean and beautiful coasts. It has many hotels that suit all levels, in addition to large stores, and is considered one of the most active nightlife center in Turkish coast, it is open day and night to the tourists and locals.

City "Marmaris" is one of the most beautiful tourist areas near the city of Bodrum, which is located in the buffer zone between the Aegean Sea and the Mediterranean Sea, as well as "Fethiye" area where there is a famous coast known as the Dead Sea, and it has many tourist hotels and nightclubs.


Antalya

This is the city of the most important tourist cities in Turkey, and is characterized by beautiful and clean coastline, large tourist hotels, and its mildly hot climate in the summer and cold in the winter.

Of the main tourist areas: Coast Konya (Konyaaltı), Krshenlo waterfalls (Kurşunlu), Duden waterfalls (Düden), (Manavgat), Alanya area, Sida and Kammer, and other coastal areas that are packed with tourists in the summer.

And within a short distance from Antalya, there is Pamuk castle (Pamukkale - Hierapolis) which has a beautiful white mountain surrounding it, in addition to churches and castles which dates back to 190 BC.

 

Trabzon City

Trabzon city is located in the north-east of Turkey on the Black Sea coast, where the charming nature, beautiful mountains and forests, and moderate climate in the summer, it also includes several churches carved into the surrounding mountains called (Sumila Manstra), Museum (Hagia Sophia), and surrounded by tourist cities and lakes. And it dates back to 756 BC

Cappadocia

It is a historical area dates back to very ancient times, it was the homeland of many civilizations such as Semites.

It is located in the city of Newshahyr (Nevşehir) western Anatolian Plateau, 250 km from the capital, Ankara.

And it is characterized by its soil and distinct geological and volcanic nature, of which previous tribes benefited from to build their homes in the hills in that plateau, where the region was characterized by its Pyramidal forms in the form of " Chimney caps" as a result of exposure to erosion through the ancient geological past.

The most important features of this region, that it contains historic churches and underground cities.

The winter tourism in Turkey is represented in the ski centers, which are spread in the following areas:

- " Uludag " in the city of Bursa.

- "Saklıkent" in the city of Antalya

- "Kartalkaya” in Bolu City

- "Palandoken" in the city of Erzurum

- "Erciyes" in the city of Kayseri

- “Elmadag” (apples Mountain) in Ankara
