H.H. Emir Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani discussed with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan strategic relations binding the two countries and ways of developing them in various fields.
During the meeting, which was held at the Presidential Huber Palace in Istanbul, the two sides exchanged views on the overall issues and developments on the regional and international arenas, especially Palestine, Syria and Yemen, as well as the latest developments in Libya and Iraq.
They also discussed the two countries' efforts to combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations in order to achieve security and peace in the region and the world.
The meeting was attended by members of the official delegation accompanying the Amir, in addition to Turkish ministers and senior officials.
