Doha, November 09 (QNA) - Qatar participated in the opening of the 16th Musiad International Fair, which is organized in parallel with the 20th international business forum and 3rd High Tech Port from November 9 to 12 in Istanbul, Turkey.
      HE Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Thani presided over Qatar's delegation in the event. The State of Qatar's participation in this exhibition is part of its efforts to strengthen cooperation with the Republic of Turkey.
     A press release issued by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce today highlighted the distinguished relations between Qatar and Turkey, especially in the economic field which continues to grow, adding that trade between the two countries rose from QR 3.8 billion in 2008 to QR 5.2 billion in 2015.
16th Musiad International Fair is organized by Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (Musiad), and aims to meet growing demand for tech equipment in the Middle East and Gulf markets as well as contribute to strengthening trade cooperation between the Gulf and Turkish businessmen and exhibiting high tech products.
