Doha, April 30 (QNA) - HE Minister of Economy and Commerce, Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim Al-Thani, met here Sunday with General President of Turkish Industrialist Businesswomen and Businessmen Confederation (SANKON), Nezaket Emine Atasoy.

Talks during the meeting dealt with bilateral relations between the two countries and aspects of joint cooperation, particularly in the economic, trade and investment fields, and means of developing them.

   The State of Qatar and the Republic of Turkey have signed a number of trade agreements, including an Agreement on Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation signed in Ankara on 11/3/1985 and an Agreement on Mutual Encouragement and Protection of Investments, signed in Ankara on 25/12/ 2001. (QNA)
