HH the Emir Discusses Gulf Crisis with Turkish, French Presidents

Doha, June 16 (QNA) - HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, HE President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and HE President of the French Republic France Emmanuel Macaron, discussed the latest updates of the Gulf crisis and its impact on the situation in the region as a whole.

This came Friday during a conference telephone conversation coordinated between the three parties, where the three leaders discussed the repercussions of the Gulf crisis and ways to diplomatically resolve it through dialogue and mutual respect not through sanctions and siege, in an effort to ensure the security and stability of the region and the safety of its peoples.

During the contact, the leaders reiterated their position against all forms of terrorism as well as the need to define terrorism and its organizations in a consistent and precise manner that leaves no room for confusion or interpretation according to personal mood. The three leaders stressed that this definition should be done by the competent international organizations in accordance with the international legal rules. They also stressed the importance of continuing to join efforts for combating terrorism and eradicating its causes. (QNA)
