The State of Qatar strongly condemned the bombing of a police truck in the city of Quetta in southwestern Pakistan, which resulted in a number of deaths and injuries.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Foreign Ministry reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position in rejection of violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement extended condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims and the government and people of Pakistan, wishing speedy recovery for the wounded.
