HH the Emir and President of Turkey Visit Trabzon

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan paid today a visit to the city of Trabzon using a helicopter. During the visit, HH the Emir viewed the most important landmarks of the city as well as its economic projects in the trade, tourism and agricultural sectors.


HH the Emir Arrives in Turkish City of Trabzon

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani arrived in the city of Trabzon in the Republic of Turkey. HH the Emir and his accompanying delegation were greeted upon arrival at Trabzon International Airport by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, a number of ministers, HE Qatar's Ambassador to Turkey Salem bin Mubarak Al Shafi, and HE Turkish Ambassador to Qatar Ahmet Demirok along with members of Qatar's embassy in Turkey were present to welcome HH the Emir.


HH the Emir Leaves for Turkey

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani left Doha today for the city of Trabzon in the Republic of Turkey. HH the Emir will chair Qatar's delegation during the second meeting of the Qatari-Turkish High-level Strategic Committee which will be held later today there, while the Turkish side will be headed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. HH the Emir is accompanied by a high-level official delegation.

Qatar Condemns Explosion in Central Turkey's Kayseri

The State of Qatar expressed strong condemnation and denunciation of the bombings, which occurred Saturday morning near a university in central Turkey's Kayseri province, leaving dozens of people dead and wounded. In a statement on Saturday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs voiced the State of Qatar's condemnation to the criminal act, which is contrary to all divine religions and human values.


HE Foreign Minister, Turkish Counterpart Discuss Situation in Aleppo
