Doha, August 26 (QNA) - The State of Qatar expressed its condemnation and denunciation of the bombing which occurred near a police checkpoint in the southeastern Turkish province of Sirnak Friday, killing and wounding a number of police officers. In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said that the State of Qatar strongly condemns these heinous criminal acts aimed at destabilizing security and stability, affirming full solidarity with the brotherly Republic of Turkey in all actions and measures to address these criminal acts and maintain security and stability in country.

Ankara, August 24 (QNA) - HE Qatar's Minister of Municipality and Environment Mohamed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi said Wednesday that Doha and Ankara signed a twin cities agreement in order to exchange expertise between them. HE the Minister spoke to the press after signing the agreement in the Turkish capital.
