Istanbul, February 23 (QNA) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met today with HE the Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani in Istanbul. President Erdogan entrusted HE the Foreign Minister to convey his greetings to HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and his wishes of more development and prosperity for the Qatari people.

Doha, February 17 (QNA) - The State of Qatar has expressed strong condemnation of the criminal explosion in the Turkish capital Ankara today that killed and injured a number of people. The Foreign Ministry expressed solidarity of the State of Qatar with the brotherly Republic of Turkey and support to all measures it takes to face such criminal acts which aim to shake its security and stability.

Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani discussed the latest regional and international developments with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan yesterday. They focused on developments in Syria and agreed on the need for a political resolution to the crisis that maintains the unity of Syrian land.

Ankara, February 08 (QNA) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met today with HE Minister of State for Defense Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohammad Al Attiyah, on the occasion of his visit to Turkey. At the outset of the meeting, HE the Minister of State for Defense Affairs conveyed greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to the Turkish President, wishing him good health and happiness and further progress and prosperity to the Republic of Turkey.

HE Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani on Friday received a telephone call from Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu. They reviewed bilateral ties between the two countries and ways of boosting and developing them in addition to a set of issues of common concern.​

The Foreign Ministry stressed Qatar's solidarity and sympathy with Germany following the blast that hit the Sultanahmet district in the Turkish City of Istanbul killIing and wounding a number of German tourists.

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al -Thani has welcomed President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the Turkish Republic and expressed pleasure over holding the first meeting of the Qatari-Turkish Supreme Strategic Committee in Qatar.
